Rivalling The Cherry

Nick is renowned for making the most of any opportunity to get the best shot possible so when asked to cover the Black Stone Cherry and Rival Sons gigs, he looked at every possible angle.

From sound-check and through to the performance, Nick shot the bands on-stage, side-stage and off-stage at Norwich UEA last night.

This was the first time Nick had caught up with the brilliant Rival Sons since the Classic Rock awards in November and the high energy rockers Black Stone Cherry since their VIP acoustic gig early last year.

As usual, Nick got into whatever position he could to get THE photo. If you were there, it may have been difficult to spot him in the pit but on stage there was no missing him.

Irish eyes are smiling

Pete Kennedy, Nick and Lee Williams

It was a sharp, cold day in London this week when Nick went on location to shoot an album cover for the enormously talented, Irish, singer songwriter, Pete Kennedy.

Pete has recently completed his latest recording in Nashville, USA, where his agent Lee Williams, arranged for him to work with some of the biggest names in country music.

Nick devised the concept for the shoot before being joined by Lee, who is also Nick’s agent in the USA, for a packed photographic session on the streets of the East End.

Artist Tredici takes up the brush

Nick's Robert Plant by Tredici

Hot on the tail of the news about contemporary artist Zinsky painting his version of Nick’s image of Lemmy, rising artist Tredici has also taken up the brush to produce his own paintings of Nick’s images.

First in the collection is this stunning oil painting of the one and only Robert Plant and he is currently working on further paintings for the collection, which will be revealed soon.

We think it is just brilliant and a wonderful compliment from the art world about Nick’s creative talent.

Both works of art are available from art dealer, Mark Fisher, on 07739 345654 or fishermark1965@yahoo.co.uk and more oil paintings of Nick’s work by Tredici and Zinsky will be coming soon.
